You don't have to travel way to Africa to enjoy safari adventures. Discover your natural side at the Wildlife Safari in Winston, Oregon, a fun family adventure where you can encounter 600 animals roaming freely on 600 acres of beautiful land. Drive through the incredible wildlife park on a 4.5 mile trek to see exotic animals from Africa, Asia and North America. You will be amazed at wild animals like lions, cougars, cheetahs, elephants, white rhinos, zebras and giraffes. Families explore the Safari Village, with beautiful gardens, a gift shop, café, and a petting zoo, where kids can feed the animals. Ride the Uganda Railway to explore the park, or experience one of the amazing animal encounters, feedings and tours.

The Wildlife Safari offers fun, interactive activities with the animals. The park offers animal encounters and feedings with lions, tigers, giraffes, bears, hippos and elephants. Discover fun and educations activities like the Tiger Tour, Elephant Barn Adventure, Hungry Hungry Hippo and the Lion Tug of War. The wildlife park also offers guided tours in safari vehicles and interesting keeper talks.
Safari Pet Kennels
Your family pets are not permitted in the Drive-Thru or Village areas, so the park has Safari Pet Kennels for dogs, cats, dogs and other domestic animals. The self-serve kennels and available during daily park hours and locks can be purchased at Guest Services or the Main Entrance for $5. Don’t forget to drop off the locks in the box at the entrance of the kennels when you leave.
How long does it take to drive through the park?
The Wildlife Safari offers a drive-through safari adventure that takes about 1 ½ hours. Cars can drive the 4.5 acre drive-thru trail through the Wildlife Safari’s four habitats and areas, including Africa, Asia, Americas, Wetlands and the Village. Convertibles and open top vehicles and motorcycles are not allowed through.
What animals will I see at the park?
Wildlife Safari is a natural habitat with over 600 animals and 80 species from the Americas, Africa and Asia. You will see and encounter animals from around the world on the drive-through path, including lions, tigers, cougars, cheetahs, zebras, elephants, zebras, rhinos, giraffes, hippos, grizzly bears, monkeys and alligators. The Safari Village is home to many animal exhibits with exotic animals like lemurs, a wolf and a bobcat. The Petting Zoo in the Village lets kids pet the goats, horses, a donkey, a pot-bellied pig, and a black-tail deer.
